Jennifer Dewitt

Jennifer Dewitt, vice president of clinical quality at ARcare, is a seasoned healthcare leader with over 15 years of hands-on nursing experience and a strong commitment to advancing patient care. She also serves as director of nurse training, where she designs curriculum, leads training initiatives and mentors new nurses to support their professional growth and clinical excellence.

A Leader Rooted in Frontline Experience

Dewitt’s professional journey in healthcare reflects a steady progression from hands-on clinical roles to strategic leadership positions. Each step has been marked by a consistent expansion of expertise and growing responsibility.

Her career began in 2007 as a telemetry technician and licensed practical nurse at Unity Health. As she gained experience and confidence, she advanced to become a registered nurse at the same facility. This advancement allowed her to broaden her clinical exposure, providing care in diverse and challenging environments such as oncology, hospice and medical-surgical units. She later served as a hospice nurse at Summit Home Health & Hospice. At Intrepid USA Healthcare Services, she worked as a home health nurse, focusing on IV therapy and wound care.

In 2017, Dewitt transitioned into leadership roles at ARcare, first as a home health nurse and then as a diabetes educator. Recognizing the critical link between training and quality care, she shifted her focus to nurse education and eventually became director of nurse training. In March 2025, Dewitt was appointed vice president of clinical quality. In this role, she blends clinical expertise with strategic oversight and data analysis to elevate care standards across ARcare’s network.

Elevating Patient Care Through Empowered Nursing

As vice president of clinical quality at ARcare, Dewitt leads efforts to enhance clinical outcomes and uphold care standards. She manages nurse training programs, develops comprehensive curricula and implements virtual learning platforms to strengthen clinical competencies across the organization.

A critical aspect of Dewitt’s work involves rigorous analysis of clinical performance data. She utilizes quantitative metrics and patient outcomes to identify areas needing improvement and to measure the impact of implemented changes. This evidence-based approach enables her to guide strategic quality improvement initiatives that are both targeted and effective, fostering measurable enhancements in care delivery.

As a certified diabetes care and education specialist, Dewitt provides direct patient education and support. Additionally, she serves as a CPR instructor and DPP lifestyle coach, further advancing ARcare’s mission of accessible, community-focused healthcare.

Under Dewitt’s leadership, ARcare continuously evolves its care model, prioritizing education, support and clinical excellence. Whether mentoring new nurses or driving quality initiatives, her focus remains consistent: delivering the highest standard of care to every patient, every time.
