A Legacy of Industry Expertise and Service-Driven Innovation
Walker’s experience spans every level of the DME industry, from frontline respiratory therapy to executive leadership. Prior to Freeman Health, he spent a decade at CoxHealth Home Support, where he directed multifaceted departments including clinical services, orthotics, custom mobility rehab, environmental access and billing. There, he was instrumental in ensuring full compliance with FDA, CMS, DOT and accreditation requirements while maintaining operational excellence across locations.
Earlier roles at Lincare, Apria Healthcare and Pediatric Services of America honed his leadership across sales, marketing, warehouse logistics and regulatory management. At Lincare, he earned the organization’s top honor, the Oxygen Growth Achievement Award, for driving record-setting expansion in respiratory services.
A graduate of Missouri Southern State University, where he earned his degree in Respiratory Care Therapy Summa Cum Laude, Walker has remained steadfast in his commitment to lifelong learning, regulatory mastery and ethical leadership.
Today, he is widely recognized not just for his strategic acumen, but for his deep-seated belief that healthcare leadership is ultimately about people. His guiding principle remains clear: deliver care with empathy, lead with integrity and never lose sight of the mission to help those in need.
